We're delighted to announce some important product updates that have recently been made and which you can use in the system right now.
All of these have been requested by our users and we hope they will save you time and make life easier using the system.
We've recently added automatic saving of transactions as you exit from each line on the entry grid. This means that there is no need to post all your invoices in one go, they can be saved and returned to later and posted when suits.
You'll note that when you exit a row, the line turns green indicating that the row has been validated and saved and is now available to post.
Note that a saved batch is only visible to the person that created it and you will be reminded when you open the screen if you have an unprocessed batch already saved (see below):
We've added an additional 'entity' grouping level to the GL Explorer when it is run in a consolidation group company. This is a much requested feature by consolidation users. We now display the entity as a 3rd level under the GL account level (see below). This is useful for identifying the source entity underlying a particular GL account balance.
We've added support for the extract of Lloyds Supplier Payments file formats within the Supplier Batch Payments function. If you wish to extract this file format, open your Bank Account record on the Bank List and change the Online Payment File type to 'BACS Lloyds'. The next time you generate a batch payment for this bank, you can extract a payments file in this format.
We've recently released an improved format for the Supplier Remittance document generated from the system. The format has been made consistent with our document formats (i.e. invoices, statements etc).
We've added a new tab to the 'Company Settings' page called “System Info”. Along with 'Creation Date' and 'Last Entered Transaction Date', the main thing to note is the addition of 'Space Used' information that provides visibility of the total amount of space used between transactions and documents.
