The Role
The Senior Manager Performance Marketing is a newly created position designed to lead AccountsIQ’s digital growth strategy, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This pivotal role will oversee all aspects of performance marketing, driving acquisition and maximising ROI. With responsibility for creating forecasts, monthly performance reporting, managing paid channels, review sites, search, and social media, as well as overseeing digital analytics and insights, the role offers a unique opportunity to shape and execute a data-driven digital strategy. Additionally, you will lead the creation and optimisation of multi-channel marketing campaigns that integrate brand and demand strategies, while offering actionable feedback on competitor insights and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive performance marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives
- Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to the Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executive to ensure best-in-class execution
- Act as the performance marketing expert, championing digital innovation to optimise campaigns and exceed targets
- Oversee all paid media efforts, including Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, and other social platforms, ensuring efficient budget allocation and performance optimisation
- Manage review site strategies to enhance visibility and drive quality traffic from platforms such as G2, Capterra, and Software Advice
- Lead search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies, maximising visibility across all digital channels
- Advise the Growth Marketing Campaign Manager on best practices for executing demand and brand campaigns
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that effectively blend brand-building and demand-generation strategies
- Establish robust forecasting models to predict performance outcomes across digital channels
- Create monthly reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights on campaign performance, ROI, and key metrics such as CAC, ROAS, and customer LTV
- Deliver insights on competitor activity to inform campaign strategy and maintain competitive advantage
- Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring a continuous feedback loop into campaign optimisation
- Drive continuous optimisation of campaigns through A/B testing, creative enhancements, and audience targeting refinement
- Manage the performance marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation to meet ROI targets
- Implement best practices and workflows to maximise efficiency across digital marketing operations
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in performance marketing or digital marketing roles, with a proven track record in SaaS or B2B industries
- Strong expertise in paid search, paid social, and programmatic advertising
- Hands-on experience managing review site strategies (e.g., G2, Capterra) to drive engagement and leads
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-channel campaigns with measurable impact on business KPIs
- Advanced proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and campaign management platforms
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Strong analytical skills, with experience translating data into actionable insights
- Results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and optimisation
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
